2. 합격 여부는 2026년 7월 15일까지 지원자 본인에게 개별 이메일로 안내합니다. 합격자 명단은 별도로 공개하지 않습니다.
- 합격자에게는 본교에서 발송하는 합격 안내 이메일로 개별 통보합니다.
- 본교가 발송한 합격 안내 이메일을 수신한 지원자에 한하여 최종 합격으로 합니다.
- 합격 안내 이메일은 intadmission@sejong.ac.kr에서 발송됩니다. 이메일이 스팸메일함으로 분류될 수 있으므로 반드시 확인하시기 바랍니다.
- 2026년 7월 15일까지 합격 안내 이메일을 받지 못한 지원자는 불합격으로 처리됩니다.
- 심사 결과 및 합격·불합격 사유는 공개하지 않습니다.
- 공관전형(Embassy Track) 지원자의 경우 한국유학종합시스템(Study in Korea) 마이페이지에서도 최종 결과를 확인할 수 있습니다.
3. Certificate of Admission (COA) 발급 등 입학 관련 후속 절차는 최종 합격자 발표 이후 개별 이메일을 통해 추가로 안내드릴 예정입니다.
4. 입국 지원
- 본교에서는 입국에 필요한 Certificate of Admission (COA) 발급 및 입국 지원 절차를 안내할 예정입니다.
- 입학과 관련된 세부 사항은 최종 합격자 발표 이후 개별 이메일을 통해 추가로 안내드릴 예정입니다.
5. 졸업예정자 안내
- 졸업예정자로 지원한 최종 합격자는 2026년 7월 31일까지 공식 졸업증명서(또는 학위증) 및 최종 성적증명서를 제출하여야 합니다.
- 제출 기한 내 관련 서류를 제출하지 않을 경우 최종 합격이 취소될 수 있습니다.
- 향후 비자 변경, 체류자격 변경 및 연장 등 행정 절차에 필요할 수 있으므로 졸업증명서(또는 학위증) 원본을 미리 준비하여 한국 입국 시 지참하시기 바랍니다.
- 국립국제교육원(NIIED)에 제출한 졸업증명서 원본은 반환되지 않습니다.
6. 한국 체류자 비자 안내
- 최종 합격자가 현재 대한민국에 체류 중이며 D-2, D-4 등 체류자격을 소지한 경우, 한국 내에서 GKS 장학생 신규 비자 발급(변경)이 불가능할 수 있습니다.
- 반드시 관할 출입국·외국인관서에 사전 문의하여 신규 비자 발급 절차 및 필요 서류를 확인하시기 바랍니다.
- 최종 합격자 발표일 기준 대한민국에 체류 중인 경우에는 입국 항공료가 지원되지 않습니다.
7. 합격 포기 안내
- 최종 합격 후 입학 전 장학금을 포기하고자 하는 경우에는 반드시 본교로 즉시 연락하여 주시기 바랍니다.
- 포기 처리 후에는 번복이 불가능합니다.
- 최종 합격 후 장학금을 포기할 경우 향후 3년간 GKS 장학사업 지원이 제한될 수 있습니다.
- 또한, 최종 합격 후 포기하는 사례는 향후 국가별 GKS 장학생 배정 인원 감소의 원인이 될 수 있으므로 신중하게 결정하시기 바랍니다.
8. 관련 법령 및 규정 숙지
- 모든 장학생은 대한민국 출입국 및 체류 관련 법령, 국립국제교육원(NIIED) 학사지침, 한국어연수기관 및 본교의 학사 규정을 반드시 숙지하시기 바랍니다.

1. The final results of the 2026 Fall Semester (1st Round) Global Korea Scholarship (GKS), University Track, are hereby announced.
2. The results will be notified individually to each applicant via email by July 15, 2026. The list of successful applicants will not be publicly disclosed.
- Successful applicants will receive an official admission email from Sejong University.
- Only applicants who receive the official admission email from Sejong University will be regarded as final successful applicants.
- The admission email will be sent from intadmission@sejong.ac.kr. Please check your spam/junk mailbox as well.
- Applicants who do not receive an admission email by July 15, 2026 will be regarded as unsuccessful.
- The evaluation results and reasons for acceptance or rejection will not be disclosed.
- Applicants for the Embassy Track may also check their final results through their Study in Korea account (My Page).

5. Notice for Prospective Graduates
- Successful applicants who applied as prospective graduates must submit their official graduation certificate (or diploma) and final academic transcript by July 31, 2026.
- Failure to submit the required documents by the deadline may result in the cancellation of your admission and GKS scholarship.
- Since the original graduation certificate (or diploma) may be required for future administrative procedures, such as visa issuance, visa status changes, or visa extension, applicants are strongly advised to bring the original document when entering Korea.
- Please note that the original graduation certificate (or diploma) submitted to NIIED will not be returned.
6. Visa Information for Applicants Currently Residing in Korea
- If you are currently residing in Korea with a valid visa (e.g., D-2 or D-4), it may not be possible to obtain or change to a new GKS visa while remaining in Korea.
- Please contact the Immigration Office with jurisdiction over your place of residence in advance to confirm the required procedures and documents.
- Successful applicants who are residing in Korea as of the date of the final announcement are not eligible for entry airfare support.
7. Withdrawal from the GKS Scholarship
- If you wish to withdraw from the GKS scholarship before enrollment, please notify Sejong University immediately.
- Once your withdrawal has been processed, it cannot be reversed.
- Applicants who withdraw after the final announcement may be restricted from applying for the GKS program for the next three years.
- In addition, withdrawals after the final announcement may negatively affect the GKS quota allocated to your country in future years. Therefore, please make your decision carefully.
8. Rules and Regulations
- All GKS scholars are responsible for familiarizing themselves with the Korean Immigration Act, the academic guidelines of the National Institute for International Education (NIIED), the regulations of the Korean language institution, and the academic regulations of Sejong University.
