Professor Mosab Kaseem of the Department of Nanomaterials Science and Engineering has developed a multifunctional hybrid coating technology through research utilizing the Plasma Electrolytic Oxidation (PEO) technique. \ This research realized both corrosion resistance and photocatalytic activity simultaneously through the surface engineering of magnesium alloys, demonstrating new possibilities for the development of next-generation smart materials.
