Sejong University Ranks First in South Korea for Two Consecutive Years in the '2024 Leiden Ranking' - 223rd in the World - First in International Collaboration Ratio for Five Consecutive YearsSejong University (President Bae Deg Hyo) has ranked first in South Korea for the second consecutive year in the '2024 Leiden Ranking,' which evaluates global universities based on the quality of their research papers. Sejong University also achieved a significant rise in the global rankings, moving up 93 places to 223rd this year. The university's global ranking has shown remarkable growth over the past five years: 592nd in 2020, 473rd in 2021, 394th in 2022, and 316th in 2023. In Asia, Sejong University climbed from 44th in 2022 and 39th in 2023 to 30th this year, marking its third consecutive year in the Top 50 in Asia. The Leiden Ranking, published by Leiden University in the Netherlands, evaluates global universities based on the proportion of their papers that are highly cited. Department of Public Administration Successfully Holds Graduation Celebration for Undergraduate and Graduate English Track Programs (GPA, MPA, MGA)The Department of Public Administration held a graduation celebration for its undergraduate and graduate English track programs (GPA: Global Public Administration, MPA: Master of Public Administration, MGA: Master of Global Affairs) in Room 308 of Jiphyeon Hall on June 13. The English track programs (GPA, MPA, MGA) within the Department of Public Administration are global programs featuring students from various countries, including Vietnam, Malaysia, Nepal, Bangladesh, Uzbekistan, and France. All courses in these programs are conducted in English for both undergraduate and graduate levels. This event was organized to celebrate the graduation and the end of the semester for international students in the English track, to encourage them, and to listen to their diverse perspectives. The College of Hospitality&Tourism Holds GHTM SeminarThe College of Hospitality&Tourism\held the GHTM Seminar in Room 616 of the Gwanggaeto Hall from June 11th to 12th. The GHTM Seminar was an academic festival event organized for international students within the College of Hospitality&Tourism. It provided an opportunity for students who had written papers to present their work and engage in discussions with professors. The event featured participation from Professors Youngjoo Ahn, Wooseok Kwon, Seweryn Zielinski, and Thomas Eck of the School of Hotel, Tourism, and Food Service Management, who shared their insights with the students.
