On July 4th at 10 a.m., the Sejong Korean Language and Culture Education Center successfully conducted the iSKA (Internet-based Sejong Korean Assessment) exam in collaboration with the King Sejong Institute Foundation at the YBM Jongno CBT Center.

A total of 35 international students from Sejong University registered for the exam. They were transported to the test site via a chartered bus provided by the King Sejong Institute Foundation.

The iSKA is an internet-based Korean language proficiency test organized by the King Sejong Institute Foundation. It comprehensively assesses learners’ language skills in four areas: listening, writing, speaking, and reading. The adaptive nature of the test allows for precise measurement of actual language usage abilities, which can be used to design personalized learning plans. Additionally, it serves as a reliable certification of Korean language proficiency and can be utilized for purposes such as study abroad, employment, and more.

A representative from the Sejong Korean Language and Culture Education Center stated,

“We hope this exam served as an opportunity for international students to assess their practical Korean skills and establish more specific learning goals. We will continue striving to provide high-quality educational and assessment services.”
