Department of Public Administration Successfully Holds Graduation Celebration for Undergraduate and Graduate English Track Programs (GPA, MPA, MGA)

The Department of Public Administration held a graduation celebration for its undergraduate and graduate English track programs (GPA: Global Public Administration, MPA: Master of Public Administration, MGA: Master of Global Affairs) in Room 308 of Jiphyeon Hall on June 13.
The English track programs (GPA, MPA, MGA) within the Department of Public Administration are global programs featuring students from various countries, including Vietnam, Malaysia, Nepal, Bangladesh, Uzbekistan, and France. All courses in these programs are conducted in English for both undergraduate and graduate levels.
This event was organized to celebrate the graduation and the end of the semester for international students in the English track, to encourage them, and to listen to their diverse perspectives.
The event was attended by Vice President for International Affairs Kyungwon Kim, Professors Jung Eun Shin, Mijeong Kim, Anna Choi, and Hyeyun Park, as well as about 40 international students from the Department of Public Administration.
The event lasted about two hours and included a welcome speech by the Vice President for International Affairs, an introduction and remarks from professors in the English track programs, a commemorative speech by a representative of the graduates, information on external activities, the distribution of commemorative T-shirts, dinner, and a photo session.
International students in the GPA program shared various experiences they had during their time at the school, expressing their satisfaction with both the school and the English track in the Department of Public Administration. Nurul Syifa Ishak (Public Administration, Class of 2019) gave a commemorative speech as a graduate representative, stating, "It wasn't easy to graduate, but I learned a lot from the professors in the GPA program, and I made many memories by attending classes with students from diverse backgrounds."
Vice President Kyungwon Kim remarked, “International students are excellent global talents of our school, and Sejong University is committed to improving conditions and recruiting more international students. We will continue to create more opportunities for exchange where we can listen to the concerns of international students, just like today's event.”
