Sejong University signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the University of Antique and the University of Mindanao in the Philippines

On July 3, Sejong University held a memorandum of understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with the University of Antique and the University of Mindanao from the Philippines at Ambassador Hall, located on the 5th floor of the Gwanggaeto Building, College of Hotel & Tourism Management.
The MOU was signed to promote smooth cooperation between the universities through academic and student exchanges, joint research, and collaborative programs.
Attendees at the ceremony included Lee Choong-hoon, Director of International Affairs at Sejong University; Ahn Yoon-young, Dean of the College of Hotel & Tourism Management; Professor Lee Seul-gi of the Department of Hotel & Tourism Management and Director of the Tourism Industry Data Analytics Lab (TIDAL); Professor Ahn Young-joo, Senior Researcher at TIDAL; May T. Delgado, Vice President for Administration and Finance at the University of Antique; Jennelyn A. Omadio, Head of the International Affairs Office; Risty Clent Aquito, International Relations Officer; Jaykem T. Elanga, Chief of Staff; Eugenio S. Guhao, Executive Vice President and Chief Academic Officer at the University of Mindanao; Dindo D. Silud, Dean of the College of Hospitality Education; Kiven G. Olivar, Head of the Hospitality Program; and Clarence Joy D. Alcaraz, Head of the Tourism Program.
The event proceeded in the following order: introduction of attendees and event overview, welcoming remarks, viewing of promotional videos from each institution, signing of the MOU, commemorative photo session, and gift exchange.
Additionally, a separate MOU signing ceremony was held between TIDAL (Tourism Industry Data Analytics Lab) of the College of Hotel & Tourism Management and the University of Mindanao. The two institutions signed the agreement to promote research cooperation and exchanged commemorative gifts.
May T. Delgado, Vice President for Administration and Finance at the University of Antique, who attended the ceremony, stated, “We deeply appreciate Sejong University for opening the door to collaboration as a partner. We hope this MOU will lead to close and practical exchanges in various areas.”
Lee Choong-hoon, Director of International Affairs at Sejong University, commented, “These two MOUs signed today will significantly contribute not only to Sejong University but also to expanding the global network and strengthening the capacity of the College of Hotel & Tourism Management. I sincerely thank all the representatives from the University of Antique and the University of Mindanao for joining us despite their busy schedules.”
