  • What was your N year in college like? Read about the College Life of Students Graduating in 2023
    The excitement of the freshman year disappeared, and the graduation season approaches. What was college life for the graduates of 2023 like? We met four graduates who are ready to explore the new world, and we heard about their college lives. “I cultivated my dream in school, so I am approaching my dream now. I would like to be an artist who establishes a play troupe and produces movies.” Ahn Soo-hyeon engaged in his college life with enthusiasm and passion. He expressed his feeling about graduation by saying, “My college life was a process of cultivating my dream by experiencing many activities. I will achieve my dream based on my experiences in school.”

  • Pungwol [風-wind;月-moon]: The 36th Student Council
    Pungwol was elected to the 36th student council after two years of the emergency measure committee as face-to-face classes resumed due to the stable trend of COVID-19. We met Kim Hyeon-soo (Department of Mass Communication · 2017), who is the president of the student’s council, in order to listen to what he wanted to say to the other students.

  • The Security Engineering Laboratory (SELab) Selected as a Healthy Lab for 2022
    The Security Engineering Laboratory (SELab) was selected as a Healthy Lab for 2022, which is sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT. The Healthy Lab is a system to award a prize in conjunction with a certification to research labs that serve as a model among the domestic universities’ scientific technology labs. This system supports excellent labs by evaluating the lab culture, research management, and research performance levels. A total of 10 labs were selected this year after 55 labs got through the documentary evaluation and the presentation evaluation. The SELab was established in 2016, and it is led by Professor Kim Yeong-gab of the Department of Computer and Information Security. There are currently 11 researchers in this lab, which include post doctorates and researchers in the master’s and doctorate courses.

Professor Myeong Seung-taek Professor Myeong Seung-taek of the Department of Nano Technology and Advanced Materials Engineering was selected as one of the 1% Highly Cited Researchers (HCR) 2022 for the first time. Professor Myeong is an HCR in the cross field. The cross field is selected based on the influence on the researchers in other fields
